We first opened our doors in May 1995, providing 10 individual bedrooms for residents at Willowbrook. We have grown over time and also offer supported living at Waterside Lodge and a flexible domiciliary care service.
Rutland House Community Trust offers individually designed, quality care that promotes opportunities for the development and self-fulfilment of adults with learning disabilities. We provide residential care delivered according to the individuals assessed needs, a fully flexible domiciliary care service and supported living.
At Rutland House Community Trust we do not provide medical staff, however we will support you to access medical services.
We offer a full and comprehensive assessment of our service user’s care and support needs and individually tailored support plans are put in place. We encourage and welcome the input of both the service user and their family in making any decisions concerning their plan of care.
Members of staff complete all mandatory training including moving and handling, first aid and basic food hygiene. Ongoing training and support is available to all staff and we provide a Diploma, Qualification programme along with specialist training. Please see our training pages for more details.
Yes, our services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all year round. We are staffed day and night at Willowbrook and Waterside Lodge.
