Training
The trust provides staff with mandatory training such as Moving and Handling, First Aid and Basic Food Hygiene.
We also recognise a need for care officers to have specific knowledge and skills we therefore provide ongoing training such as Diploma level 2, 3, 4 and 5, Autism Awareness, Makaton, CPI and many more.
We have a successful in house Diploma programme incorporating Levels 2 – 4 in Health and Social Care, Management, Housekeeping and Administration. We also support staff to complete the Care Certificate when new to care or have no qualifications in Health and Social Care. This is a good introduction into care and goes towards developing onto Diploma qualifications.
